One of our favorite things to do is to take a short walk around the neighborhood. There's nothing like talking a walk in the early morning air after a cup of coffee, or going for a stroll after dinner as dusk starts to settle on the mountains.
When we are back at home, we like the convenience of being able to walk from our house to the neighborhood grocery store, or to our favorite sushi restaurant or to the local tea shop. However, when we are away in Tahoe, we much prefer to be out of town, away from the noise and hustle and bustle, to fully enjoy the quiet and beauty of the forest.
One of the great things about being up on top of Angora Ridge is the breathtaking views of Tahoe basin. Since the house is already on the Ridge, there isn't a huge hike up the mountain to capture fantastic views. A couple minutes easy stroll up the street is all it takes to enjoy breathtaking views of Tahoe Valley framed by Freel Peak and Jobs Sisters in the background. These are views that the whole family young and old can enjoy.
